  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Ok so God puts us on this Earth for a specific reason, a 'job'. This could be anything whatsoever correct? Obivously if he has the ability to create life, he'd have the ability to save all of ours from the harms of the world. But he wants us to learn, and so gives people jobs to fufill. One Q here, do we always fufill this job? As in surely there are two extremes of doing it (ie. completing the job to the maximum or the negative effect [for example, and yes its crude but just for an example k?, he wanted you to walk around a carrot, but the negative of it would be to walk right through it, trampling it] and then other such ways, like meeting it half way [slightly steeping on the carrot] *ok i admit it was a bad example but meh*) so does he give us a choice of set endings, and we find our own way to one of them? Or do we always complete EXACTLY what he set for us to 'walk around the carrot'?

Yes you did.

You still haven't explained why an atheist should kill themselves.

I was answering a question.

Q: ... or I just kill myself?
A: If .... Then do it, because ...

I did not say you "should".

God gives His believers some lessons in a form of "job". But we are human, not robot. So some of us do a better job than others. Some would even fail the job.

But do not forget the purpose of doing the job on earth is to learn how to work (serve) in Heaven. Just like the purpose of taking courses in school is to learn how to work in society. In God's course (the assigned job), one who failed the job may even learn more than one who got the job done.

So, if you accept the job God gives to you, whether you do the job well or badly, success or failure, you "learned" in all cases. And the consequence is always: Good.

The Bible explained this issue very clearly and thoroughly in the Gospel Books (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John). If interested, I can show you a few verses.

Why would you direct people to kill themselves if they don't believe in God?

This is my last reply to your silly question.
I did not direct people to do that. I simply answer question.

And you simply and incorrectly equivocate atheism with nihilism, they are not the same.
