I listen to people who know the Bible and listen to what they say. If what they say feels just and right in my heart then I go by my instincts. I don't believe in the Trinity as say the Catholics do. I have difficulty with it for reasons I have posted in this forum before. I would ask God to guide me into what is truth or not.

Which people do you listen to, Weboffin?  Have you ever read Bernhard Anderson's Genesis or Nahum Sarna's books on Genesis?  How about the theologians Bill Moyers had on his PBS show on Genesis?  How about RE Friedman or J. Blenkinsopp? Ever read John Calvin's Commentaries?

I take it that if what they say doesn't "feel just and right" then you ignore them?  How do you justify your feelings on the matter? Are your feelings just your way of saying you won't change your mind?
