Hugs and Prayers for Littleredkiss

Thanks to all of you for your prayers, poems, and words of encouragement.

As some of you heard, my mom was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer on June 1st. The last 2 days of my her life were extremely difficult. My sisters and I spent most of the time caring for her and just being with her. It was hard watching my mom's life fading away, but the Lord was with us giving us the strength to make it through. Then, at about 1:30 p.m. on Friday, June 30, the angels came and took my mom to heaven. It was kind of neat because the music that was being played when she died sounded like a host of angels singing, and it made me think that the angels were probably really singing like that as my mom was entering heaven. Then, soon after my mom died, I went outside and looked all around and noticed the sun shining brightly, the birds were singing merrily, the trees were swaying in the breeze and, all of a sudden a gentle peace swept over me, and I knew that everything was alright and that heaven was rejoicing at my mom's arrival.

Sounds beautiful. Dear sister, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. When the grief hurts may the Lord embrace you in his arms of love. As Jesus said, "Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted."

Merciful God, I lift up to you Littlered and her family as the mourn the loss of her mom. I give you thanks for her mom's life - for the joy and love she gave to her family. Comfort those who are mourning her loss - her family, her friends and all who knew and loved her. Surround them with people who will support them at this time. May they feel your peace, love and comfort at this time. I pray this prayer through Jesus my Lord, Saviour and Friend. Amen.

I am so sorry for your loss- but you have mentioned that your Mom was a christian. Rejoice in the fact that she is at peace with her Lord and you will see her again. You will be in my prayers.
