Wondering if anyone has read anything by this writer. A critic of Artificial Intelligence mainly - wrote a controversial book called What Computers Can't Do, and another a couple of decades later called What Computers Still Can't Do. Was strongly of the view that there are important differences between a human brain and an artificial neural network.

What I have read is that his views are now beginning to be taken more seriously in the field of AI.

Is anyone familiar with him or his writings, or his critique of AI?
