I don't need to say I'm new here, as I'm posting here. I came across this forum while doing a recipe search....go figure! I hope I can make some good friends here....looking forward to this site!!

I'm from Texas, and I've been a Christian for 14 years. I've been feeling God pushing me in the direction I need to go for the first time in years.

I quit my old job after 2 1/2 years to start working in the education field, which is my major at school. Almost as soon as I turned in my notice, I started noticing little things that told me God was watching over me, like gas prices falling, cell phone usage falling, landing a long term sub position, which led to a full time aide position. I now get benefits for the first time in my working life....I'm so excited!!

Please pray for me and my family, as we have a lot of illnesses....leukemia (mother), diabetes & hepatitis c (aunt), possible diabetes (brother), possible MS (uncle), anurysm (sp?) in the abdomen -- now slowly recovering (another uncle), and obesity (me -- and I will be trying to be lose weight after the holidays).

I wish to say "Hello" to everyone, and I'm looking forward to some good Christian conversations!!!
