Hello everyone. I am new here. I saw something that said I should post here first, so here I am.

I guess a basic overview would be appropriate. I am a divorced 42 year old man living in Arizona. I ran across this website while doing a search for churches in my area. I haven't been to church other than for formal events ie: weddings, funerals, etc since I was a kid back in Georgia. Subsequently, I haven't led the cleanest of lives.

For the last 25 years or so, I have been rather agnostic about God, although I always knew he was there, else I probably wouldn't be here now, as God has pulled my butt out of the fire a number of times, whether of not I realized it at the time.

Anyhow, its high time to grow up & start living my life the way it was intended to be lived. So here I am. I'm glad to be here.

Welcome to the forum. May God give you strength. We can't clean our own act up, but He can do it for us. God has pulled me out of the fire many times also...he is very longsuffering and waits patiently for our return.
