  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi everyone. I cannot tell you how excited I was when I found this forum! I have been posting for the past 3 or 4 years on the website TexAgs.com and to put it bluntly, I became very tired of the constant smart alleck remarks that were flying towards us Christians on there. I wanted to find a place where I could share my beliefs and discuss Christ with other people who are serious about their relationship with our Lord.

A little about me: I am from Bryan/College Station, Texas. I am a member of Christ's Way Baptist Church in Bryan. I am 26. I am married. I have an 8 year old step daughter and my wife and I are expecting another little girl in November!

Anyways, I hope to get to know many of you well and look forward to learning more about Christ.
