And yet none of it results in assassination attempts against his political opponent. His rhetoric evidently isn't as dangerous as Kamala's.I can recall serval incidents of Trump himself using "dangerous rhetoric". I am sure you can also.
Does she? Is she? Are you not familiar with the tu quoque fallacy? The Dems employ the fallacy quite regularly when they are caught with their hand in the cookie jar, so to speak.I think he knows the difference between reality and fantasy. I think he’s just a hopeless, compulsive liar.
This should be in the conspiracy theory forum.
Just ahead of the 2024 election, the current administration appears to be setting up the narrative framework that Trump is an illegitimate candidate (because he's unstable, or a fascist, or otherwise a "threat to democracy"...)
Hypothetically speaking, if Trump ends up having a clear electoral victory that is not in question....
How will you react if the current administration still attempts to block his swearing in as President by invoking some sort of state of emergency in order to deny Trump the presidency. The stated "emergency" might be that Trump is supposedly too unstable to become President, or because he stands accused of "insurrection" from J6, or any number of narratives that could be presented as the reason the administration supposedly has no choice but to block the election of Trump "to save democracy".
Will you consider this a coup attempt by the existing administration to overturn the election results?
Or you will view such an electoral denial as acceptable in order to protect democracy?
.....
As a follow-up question, (and this question is particularly for those who believe January 6th was an "Insurrection" ) if Trump wins and there is any kind of mass violence or trespassing on government property by anti-Trump protestors during the electoral confirmation process, will you likewise perceive this as an insurrection attempt to overturn the electoral process?
That would only get Vance into office as president, which wouldn't do the Democrats any good, although it would be better for the nation overall. And that would also be really hard sell after letting Biden go on as president these past several months.
Such a decision would be nakedly political, don't you think?
I think your example is one of the simplest ways (disguised as a lawful act) they could try to block him. It would just look so silly after Biden.
I don't think it's difficult at all, and you explained why.The question is difficult, because (I think) that it silently is appealing to
the idea that the majority vote of citizens, in a presidential election,
determines what should be the law of the land. AND THIS IS FALSE.
It is the due process of law in America, and the fair rule of law, that
determines what is legal and illegal, in this country.
Appealing to some majority vote, is the way that lynch mobs operate -- not the
fair rule of law in America. This seems to be lost on some of Trump's followers.
Claims about election procedures, fall under the individual laws of the individual states.
Claims about election fraud, must follow due process of law, under the individual
laws of the states.
Decisions about the capacity of the elected President to competently carry out his
Consitutional duties (regardless of what HE thinks), already have been addressed
in the founding documents, and the fair rule of law. This decision is not a free for all,
between different posturing political parties.
How will you react if Trump wins electorally but is declared unfit to be president?

Not even close.Let me guess: the Revolutionary Army in 1776.
There are nuts out there. We saw it January 6th,And yet none of it results in assassination attempts against his political opponent. His rhetoric evidently isn't as dangerous as Kamala's.
Aaaaaand once again, the return to the Jan. 6th trope. There are nuts out there. We saw it January 6th,
A most inconvenient "trope" for those who believe the Big Lie.Aaaaaand once again, the return to the Jan. 6th trope.
How's that working for Harris and her poll numbers?
If Trump wins, I have no doubt Biden, Harris and anyone else who has been declaring that "Trump must not be allowed to be president!" will orchestrate their own version of Jan. 6th, and will attempt to justify it with, "We're not trying to overthrow democracy. We're trying to save it, so what we're doing is ok!"A most inconvenient "trope" for those who believe the Big Lie.
Poll or no poll. It is a reality that must be faced. Or do you want to see it again?
What? You mean she doesn't use inflammatory rhetoric that resulted in her political opponent getting shot?Kamala has done No. Such. Thing.
I mean she had nothing to with causing Trump to get shot. Stay off the Kool Aid.What? You mean she doesn't use inflammatory rhetoric that resulted in her political opponent getting shot?
Watch the news more.
And not only that, but I posted this last summer and it bears repeating. Trump’s response to his shooting by pumping his fist in the air and yelling “fight, fight, fight” was not only dangerous for him but was inciting danger for everyone else at that rally. He endangered every innocent person there and continues to do so with that mouth of his.I mean she had nothing to with causing Trump to get shot. Stay off the Kool Aid.
Oh sure, someone simply decided to do it just for something to do.I mean she had nothing to with causing Trump to get shot. Stay off the Kool Aid.
Oh, so now victim blaming is suddenly acceptable? And not only that, but I posted this last summer and it bears repeating. Trump’s response to his shooting by pumping his fist in ate air and yelling “fight, fight, fight” was not only dangerous for him but was inciting danger for everyone else at that rally.
He’s a dangerous man and I hope he loses another election.Oh sure, someone simply decided to do it just for something to do.
When he failed, someone else got the same idea out of nowhere and thought he'd give it a try as well--but the incitement of violence from Kamala & Kompany played no part.....just as Trump saying "fight like heck" had nothing to do with January 6th.
