How were u introduced to the knowledge of the Sabbath?

I was station in Vicenza, Italy in 1993, I was going to church on Post at the chapel. And one Sunday This Elder Got up and preacher an after he preached his Wife got up and had remarks. And I was like God its something different about them... people right there what is it. So the Lord begin to allow me to be drawn to them. And then they told me they had a service in there home on at that time as Saturday.So I started going and then they began to teach about the LAW of GOD. And then they broke it down about the 4th Commandment keeping Gods Holy SABBATH. So I called back to the US and asked my Old Preacher is Saturday the SABBATH. And he said yes, that the early Christians changed it. I said why you don't teach that, why you don't teach the truth, and he was like we can't talk about that on the phone and Right then I knew I had tapped into something. And I started really seeking the LORD and he wrote HIS law upon the tables of my HEART. So he done a transition in my life, the traditional Holidays I let go, I started eating cleaning. And I started keeping his HOLY SABBATH. I am the only one in my family and GOD has rooted and grounded me in his truth. I am grateful. I Remember before I went to ITaly in 1992 this WOG had spoke into my life that I was going to do something that my father nor grandfather could not do and that is CARRY the LAW of GOD and Promote his HOLY SABBATH. I am honored to have come into the knowledge of the truth. BUY THE TRUTH and SELL IT NOT!!!!!

That is a great testimony. I was born and raised in the church. I've kept the sabbath since my youth, but I love hearing stories of how God has revealed this truth to others.

My story goes something like this...

I was raised Baptist but had fallen away from God early in my life and was in and out of jail by 16. Looking back, I can see God was trying to reach me and watch over me even then.... from protection when i was living on the streets to placing me in a Christian half way house. But I was still absorbed in myself and the world and ignored the Spirits calling... fast forward, I eventually moved back with family and went back to school. Met my wife a few years later, got married and settled in to my life.... still not walking with the Lord but I was still being blessed by Him. Lots of trials and tribulations later, I was at work one day in 2005, surfing the internet when I happened upon a site that was showing how the Sabbath was still in effect and the Papacy was the beast of Revelation who had changed it... I was utterly and completely blown away. I realized at that point that there were so many things, questions I had and didn't even know it until then, about things in the Bible. I had never even heard of Seventh Day Adventists but when I went looking for a church in my area that honoured the Sabbath, there it was. I convinced my wife to go and check it out, we were introduced to the Revelation Speaks Peace series and the rest is history.... well all except for the fact that we had to pull away from the conference and begin studying on our own to continue to grow, but it's been a continual blessing that I thank God for every day.
