Hitler inspired an awful lot of people worldwide both positively and negatively, and most certainly affected more lives significantly.
Arguably Joseph Stalin for the same reason as Hitler

Additionally I would add that his life and death are no more significant or of more worth than the thousands of homeless, nameless, faceless people that will die tonight.
My wife wants to know where all this sympathy was for the man 2 weeks ago?
