I never said she commands or God obeys, I only say she is the instrument used by God to fill Elizabeth with the Holy Spirit, as she is the instrument by which the disciples believed in Jesus in Jn 2
And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: (Luke 1:41)
Then you could also purport that since the babe was already filled with the Holy Spirit and conveyed that to his mother.
As for John 2, what kind of instrument is it when one needs to be reminded once again that the Christ only does the will of the Father, in subjection to Him, and is under no obligation to remedy her problem (which is what as a study of the phrase "what have I to do with thee" testifies to) unless it be Him time, and thus all she can say is "Whatsoever [if anything] he saith unto you, do."
By looking to Christ as Savior, to do what she was powerless herself to do, Mary was an instrument of God, not by irresistible power of intercession, but that the wedding itself, as well as those who wanted wine (but did not ask Mary to intercede), was by occasion was an instrument used by God by which the disciples believed in Jesus is also true.
None of which presents or elevates Mary as heavenly object of prayers, which is utterly unseen in Scripture, and is egregious extrapolation to use John 2 for this.
