• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This is one of the all-famous life hacks that really works.
WE all seem to have someone who loves to give us problems. They attack us all the time and we struggle to respond correctly.

The next time you are attacked...in person or on social media....simply remain very very calm and try to smile. You will simply refuse to let THEIR problem become YOUR problem. You next will try to look at some positive aspect of the issue and focus on that.

What will happen is:
1. Your reaction will make them even more angry
2. Your loving response will later make them feel very guilty about what they did to you
3. They may likely stop doing this to you altogether if you respond each time like this

See, people that attack you are listening to demons who are using them to sow discord. Try not to get too upset at that person and realize that they are being used. The one way to expose Satan is to let his own actions expose him. When you respond to hate with love then you shine a light on the darkness and that makes the enemy very upset.

try this and be amazed.

Bless up.
