  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Hello everyone. As you can tell, I'm wondering ways I can help people and make a difference in this world. It seems like as a teen, I'm SO limited! I mean, adults can start charities, host fundraisers, go on mission trips, be more active in church, ect. Me? I'm limited to writing people nice letters and giving gifts and donations with the small allowance and holiday money I receive.

So overall, I'm asking, what more can I do? My parents won't let me go on a mission trip, I already write letters, give gifts, donations, etc. (I promise I'm not trying to brag! I really am just trying to explain what I am already doing.) I guess I just want to do something bigger and more without limitations in age. Any ideas?

One creative thing I came up with is starting a small business on Etsy making baby bows for the Crisis Pregnancy center and more.

??? All people of all ages can start charities, host fundraisers, go on mission trips, etc. You dont have to be a certian age to do those things.

You can do anything at any age, With or without permission, One of the most popular ways is to do it online, Yes online although it sounds stupid, But billions of people are surfing online.

Both internet and media has a great influence on the society and people, I mean it's obvious, You might just need to start making difference online and then in real life.

Also if you have a really creative idea, Make a blog or website about it, Share it with your friends/family and with people you don't know (Strangers) and if they find it cool, They will support you and you will be able to make difference then.

Wish you the best of luck,
Charbel.
