The chief end of man is to glorify God and to enoy him for ever. Westminster confession of faith.

Jesus told us if we love him, we will obey him.

There were many martyrs who dared to love God till their last blood with their whole life and still they prayed for people who kill them, total obedience to God, life is just short we all die anyway one day. We hv nothing to loose, we will die sooner or later but to live or to die we do it in the Lord Jesus Christ.

I think that, as long as you have good intentions, you've got a good start on living a good Christian life. Remember, God sees with the heart (1 Samuel 16:7).
