If a voice tells you, "You're not a Christian. You were supposed to do this, this, and this."
Answer it like this: "Who said I was a Christian? I'm a dog. And the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table."

When you sincerely answer it like that, you are demonstrating great faith.

I pity your dogs. Do you really mistreat them like that?

I love my pets and they know it. I feed them healthy meals that are more than adequate. I give them a warm, dry place to sleep. Yes, they eat crumbs, but they get so much more than that.

Likewise, our great shepherd takes us into green pastures to eat our fill and does not limit us to crumbs from his table.

Great faith is knowing that he takes care of us and gives us our fill and that it isn't just his crumbs.

True, our great shepherd takes us to the green pastures. He overflows our cup. He came that we might have life and have it more abundantly.
But for those who don't have this confidence, and are not even sure if they're a Christian or not, the passage in Matthew 15:22-28 is very helpful.
