You're welcome.
What if school children are taught using the ideas presented here?
What if retirees continue to learn in this manner? It makes a lot of sense.
What the article is really saying, is that -
1. We would be wise to Continue learning just as LITTLE :) children do, when in fact they are allowed ... to succeed.
&
2.requisite  Nutrition, both preventative & supportive, allowing intelligent expression...

You can't increase your "intelligence" - that's a vague catchall term. However, you can expand your knowledge base by reading everything you can get your hands on, even subjects you have no interest in. You can read books on reasoning and critical thinking, and you can do puzzles like crosswords and math puzzles.

Interesting study, but the interpretations are very questionable. Not something to give too much significance to as there the correlations being drawn between training and intelligence have very little causal support or evidence. While training does cause changes in the brain (everything does) this article ignores what actually happens and tries to draw some loose correlations from the data. This is not a complete dismissal of the study, I just wouldn't get too excited about the implications this article seems to highlight.
