I don't go on blind dates or meet people from the internet, but, hypothetically, I would fart, burp, and proclaim my love for them.

Funny you should mention that. I have been meaning to write a devotional called Fart on the First Date.


To the original post Say something like "I just remembered I have to go wack somebody for the mob tonight, wanna help clean up the evidence?"

Seriously though, I would probably not be in a situation where I would have to flee after the first 5 minutes. I would at least be polite and try to make it through one date. I have endured worse than a bad date.

I'm sorry, but I'm not going to pass up the opportunity to make a new friend. If I asked a lady out, and I was completely uninterested in her romantically, I would at least have the class to finsh the date. You never know where your next friend may come from.

If your argument is that what if they were so un-Godly that you realised that you made a HUGE mistake..........well maybe God brought them into your life for a reason

Make the most of it and then be honest about how you only want to be friends.I don't think it is honoring to God or beneficial for your witness to try and repluse someone into loosing interest in you...I mean,good grief people,this isn't grade school
