Give me a chance to listen to it a little more closely before I vote. I only listened to it once through, but I was writing a paper.. so it was basically only background noise.

U2 has done it again... They have released a stellar album. They sound just as good as they did back in the 80's. This album is revolutionary- and it's a breath of fresh air, considering the junk that's on the radio today. The album opens up with "Vertigo"--which is the radio friendly tune that has hit the charts hard--from there--it's a string of awesome songs. All of them are great. My favorite on the album has to be "Love and Peace"-- This album sounds like classic U2, but infused with the new U2 also. Bono sounds greater than ever. I definitely will tell all U2 fans- to go out and immediately buy this. For Non-U2 fans- also, go buy it. But I don't demand as much urgency- as the people that REALLY love U2.

I am sooo pleased!!!! -- This is the greatest album of the year, by far.

All U2 is good but I heard they were going back to their old ways with this album which is a very good thing!! Good to hear it wasn't just a rumour and that it is truth!
I'm all over it as soon as I get off work!

Not as good as All That You Can't Leave Behind, IMO, but still very good. I'm very excited for the tour and plan on going even if I have to travel for days.

It sounds a lot like Rattle and Hum to me. And I LIKE Rattle and Hum, so that's cool.

CaDa--the guy who still has his original copy of Boy on vinyl. In fact, I think I'll listen to it right now.

Sorry to hate on all you u2 lovers, but i dont like them that much. After listening to their album a coupla times, it makes me want to puke. Id much rather listen to a good ol' moonspell, Fullblown chaos, or Judas Priest Cd. Just a matter of opinion tho.

I can respect your opinion... but if the only U2 you've heard is HtDaAB, I strongly urge you to check out one of their older albums...perhaps: October, Rattle and Hum, Achtung Baby, or Joshua Tree.

I like this album alot, as did the last one. But my all-time favorite U2 album is a tie between October and Joshua Tree.

I totally respect your opinion, but I'm still very biased...

I just started to listen to the U2 after their Greatest Hits album came out. I figured I'd pick it up. My favorites were "End of the World", "Hold me, Thrill Me", Beautiful Day, and the soundtrack song from Gangs of New York(I do wish they had Elevation on there too). With these songs in mind, do you think I'd like the new album?
