• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

Hi how do i deal with thease doubts

Look at Nother threads to understand the situation

Doubts are always dealt with by facing them and by finding the answers to them.

But what if its ocd Wouldn’t that make it worse

I am not an expert or a doctor so I can only state my beliefs about ocd.
Yes the obcessive nature of ocd can keep you going in circles about doubt, but those circles can be stopped by your knowledge of what is true.

Many people with ocd post here about their worries about commiting the unforgivable sin.
the answer to this is simple Christian who are trusting in Jesus will not comit this sin.

Is your fear or worry rational? if it is not then trust the theology that says it is not rational to fear that.

You get doubts or intrusive thoughts raising doubts and questions in your mind?

If these doubts are not intusive thoughts, how do you get them?

If scientific programs cause you to doubt the Bible, don't watch those programmes.
Get to know web sites like coldcasechristianity, reasonablefaith, wintery knight, answersingenesis, creation.com etc etc etc

Challenge your minister and other Christian leaders to train the congregation in apologetics and not to just preach at them.

Again intrusive thoughts, all you do is acknowledge them.
A thought comes, ' Say something nasty about Jesus! ' or ' there is no God. ' etc etc All you do is say. " Yes that is correct. " And carry on with what you are doing.

Have you spoken to a doctor about your problems?

You are allowed to be sad.

You are allowed to have problems and you can seek help from doctors.

Please do talk to someone.
