How the new forum will affect US......

I think we should convert to congregation-wide guidelines (which would stop debate), until the new forum is established and the Progressives and Formers can figure out the rules for their new forum and "rejoice" ELSEWHERE.

Non-members can only post fellowship posts and that's IT.

It might just be temporary, but for right now, I think it's the only way to go!

T&O, we are not under the Wiki era anymore. Members do not decide the rules. Input was allowed, but that was all.

I will contact some admins regarding this but I just wanted to make that clear.

Thanks for reopening the thread.

I understand that we're not in the Wiki era anymore Free, but we're not asking for new rules or even alteration of the old ones. We're asking that our FSGs be done away with and that we go under the site-wide and congregation-wide guidelines of Christian Forums.

The congregation-wide guidelines define what a member is and who can debate. That's exactly what we need right now.

We opened up a debate forum because there are members of the Seventh-day Adventist church that were posting here that do not agree with the teachings of the church. We were debating with THEM more than with any guests.

It was more to appease them and get all arguments off the main forum than anything else.

I really don't want all my posts deleted Honor. I spent hours on some of them! I do agree that we could start fresh though, but I don't think it's necessary to delete all old threads in order to do that, do you?
