What happens if you are not holy?

" Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. "

Uhmm I can live with being the least in the Kingdom! ;)

As I said in another "Sabbath" thread.

In Romans 2:28-29 "A man is not a Jew if he is only one outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. No, a man is a Jew if he is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man's praise is not from men, but from God." We are to observe the Sabbath EVERY DAY as 2 Timothy 1:9 says "Who has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time." In Mark 3:4 I love this quote when Jesus asked the Pharisees: "Which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?" But they remained silent.

Changing God's words to fit your doctrine is a very dangerous practice.
Exodus 31:14, NASB
You shall keep the Sabbath, therefore, for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from among his people.

One can clearly see the difference between your version, and what was actually written.

This is a shameful fraud you are perpetrating.

Be it known, it is not by observing the seventh day, or the first, or any day that makes one holy. One is holy because God declares it. He has declared Sabbath to be holy, made for man.

Furthermore, we who observe the Lord's day of resurrection do not "follow" the first day. We follow HIM.

Ephesians 2:14-16 says "For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility."

As I said earlier, in Romans 12:1 Paul said "Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship." Galatians 3:15 supports this regarding "The Law and the Promise": "Brothers, let me take an example from everyday life. Just as no one can set aside or add to a human covenant that has been duly established, so it is in this case." We are to observe the Sabbath EVERY DAY as 2 Timothy 1:9 says "Who has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. Only Yahh can change something which He created, but He said I change not, neither will He allow man to change what is holy, because ‘el said, “be ye holy as He is holy. Mashiyach didn’t change the sabbath, but He was the Lord of the sabbath because He was holy, and the Pharisees wasn’t keeping it holy because they established their own ways to be holy…

You can’t regard a day to be holy; Yahh already regarded what day is holy. This is how you regard the day of the Lord…

So whatever way He made holy, you must adhere to His holy ways. His way was for you to be holy on the sabbath and not for you to choose what way or day you think is holy…

Colossians 2:16 said you can’t judge man for keeping Yahh’s day holy, because ‘el already judged what day man must keep holy. You can’t make judgment on what day is holy for man to keep. Yahh made final judgment already on what day man must keep holy…

The masses of popular Christianity may think it’s holy to follow the crowd, which say they are holy, but Christ the Mashiyach didn’t see popular religious crowds in the New Testament as being holy. In fact He advocated against groups who thought they were holy but didn’t follow the holy way of ‘el…

Is that what Exodus 31:14 says? I don't remember that and I honor the Sabbath as well as attend church on Sunday.

Hey, Tulc - long time no see! And Jim - how're you doing?

Hi Barb... I am doing good... Just lurking and observing more than replying :D

Seeing posts such as this kinda bothers me. As long as our conscience is clear and our heart is pure before God, don't be concerned with issues. I mean, it's like losing ourselves in the pursuit of Christ and let everything else take its place like legalism. We have to turn people outside, focus on spiritual, the reality of Christ and don't be analytical.
:sigh:
