That's why it isn't part of the Protestant Canon.i think some parts of the book of enoch say they're 9000 feet tall....
Exactly. Now you are beggining to understand...

About half of it is, measurements definitely arent accurate though.LOL! Not sure we're on the same page here, cuz i'm wondering if any part at all of the book of enoch is credible?

Mix and match here and there, that's why it wasnt included in the Bible.which half?

Well the Books of Moses cover that time period and they were written thousands of years later. Did humans even write when Enoch was alive? I thought it was all oral tradition.Did the Godly man, Enoch, write it?
Can you cite Scripture - - or anything - - that would sound like this might be somewhere in the realm of plausibility? In broad terms. Is there anything in Enoch?I believe it was the mutation with human DNA that made them tall but their fathers were regular angel size which I imagine under 9 ft

I only know that the approximate size of an angel is around under 9 or 10 feet based on apparicions witnessed in churches and such. The book of Enoch says the Nephilim were beggining to deplete all food sources that were meant for humans, so that tells me they must've had pretty huge stomachs, stomachs much bigger than a 9 foot being. But that is only assuming, just putting gathered info together that makes sense to me. I could be very wrong though. Can you cite Scripture - - or anything - - that would sound like this might be somewhere in the realm of plausibility? In broad terms. Is there anything in Enoch?
I am getting into everything tonight! Anyway I was just going to say it depends on how many Nephilim there were. Also sometimes people don't want to share, like our sometimes attitude that all the game belongs to us and the bears and wolves had better just become vegans but not eat on our grazing land.I only know that the approximate size of an angel is around under 9 or 10 feet based on apparicions witnessed in churches and such. We don't know how many there were, but there were a lot considering one third of the angels fell and whoever fell were very likely to be part of breeding with human women. Thousands of them...I am getting into everything tonight! Anyway I was just going to say it depends on how many Nephilim there were. In Amos 2:9 it says the amorite were the height of cedar trees, the average height of a cedar tree is 30m - 40m tallNumbers 13:33
We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them."
Do you think that is metaphorically speaking or do you think the Nephilim were actually that tall, meaning probably hundreds of feet tall if you compare yourself to a grasshopper... I was glancing through a few crazy documentaries on youtube today, and one of them was saying the mount called the Devil's tower actually is the remnance of a Nephilim's foot ??? I was like ok, that person must be on crack or something, then that verse came up. Hmm... What do you think, were the Nephilim as tall as they make them to be?
It wasn't the giants that had intercourse with the women... It was the fallen angels. The offspring were not human and were not limited by human genealogy. In Genesis they refer to them as heroes and men of renown. I just don't think they could communicate with humans if they were that big. Also I doubt that such creatures as a Nephilim would be able to have intercourse with women if their sex organs were in any way proportionate.
Enoch was able to write. And if you look at the ages of people in those days and the times when they were born.... Adam lived almost up until Noah was born. Methuselah would have or could have known and communicated with Adam and Noah.. for many years. Noah lived almost long enough to see Abraham born. Noah's son Shem could have met Issac. Although he would have been very young.Well the Books of Moses cover that time period and they were written thousands of years later. Did humans even write when Enoch was alive? 1. Sons of God deal with the seed of Seth marrying the seed of Seth. New Testament list Sons of God as regular humans It's not uncommon.
2. Angels don't have reproductive organs, Bible says neither male nor female. Matt 22
3. Nephilim refers to giants, the term is used before and after the flood. So it's not referring to a demigod creature that lived in genesis, but survived the flood and their descendants made it to Numbers 13 and Deut. 1 ( og of bashan), Amos 2:9
4. It is quite possible they were over 10ft before and after the flood. We limit our thinking to what's possible now, when these humans were closer to creation/the beginning than we are.
