As good as you are at researching adventist sources, I'm certain you can confirm if what I said was accurate or not.

You said that "one is intoxicated from their first cup." I don't see that argument even in Adventist sources. The Adventist source that I cited indicates that it would take several drinks to become intoxicated. So I'm wondering if you can provide evidence to support your statement.

It's not the amount. It's the content due to the nature of the substance.

I can tell you that I have a very low tolerance of alcohol. From just one cup of beer or wine I may not be drunk and pass out, but I can feel the effect of alcohol, on the mood, behavior and judgment.

It's just common sense. You put one drop of ink into a glass of water. It might not look dark at all but it's still contaminated.

As I already addressed above, I was the one that asked Marsten that question... which he never did answer

how would you define the word intoxicated?

intoxicated in the sense of poisoned?

not really!

intoxicated in the sense of making my heart joyful?

that should always be the case!

Did ya get a buzz? Was your judgement impaired at all? (even though I'm sure at the time you didn't think so)

Of course I'm asking these questions in a rhetorical sense... I already know the answer.

Sometimes...;)

Well, of course it may happen as can be observed...

What I actually like about a drink is, the change of reality and the return to it...

imagine you have worked for quite some time, suffered daily routine and stuff, and suddenly you are in quite a different surrounding with music and people dressed differently, (esp. women) and then you have a drink or two, its like being in another world, something that does not happen everyday and then the next day you return to the daily routine, think about the things that happened, the good things, the bad things, the funny things... its fun... I am not the kinda guy who would sit down at home in the evenings and have beer while watching Tv, if you know what I mean...
