  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

This is only what one should expect.
There is no canada anyways.
Is the the American (some canadians) the most intelligent people in the world and in history?
yes of coarse.
so one would expect the most intelligent people to be the least wrong on matters requiring intelligence.

Creationism would expect that the less intelligent peoples of the world are more easily led to believe or innately believe things that are wrong.

The reason for the disagreement is partly because of especially the Evangelical protestant faith and influence beyond its people. Yet then practical common intelligence makes the American demand good evidence before agreeing with great conclusions.
"experts' claiming to be so is not good enough to bring American agreement.
In fact those americans who do agree just do because of their faith in the experts.
In truth 95% of the pop don't know very much about origin issues.
its about which people put their minds to matters more then other people and then how smart are these different peoples.
The anglo=american civilization has been the highest in history because , among other reasons, we have been the most intelligent.

That evolution struggles amongst the best is a sign its not long for this earth.

I wish you were on the side of the atheists Robert,
we could do with someone with your wit and intellect on our side,
a brain of your caliber would be very much appreciated,
people might then start to take evolution seriously,
but creationisms gain is our loss, never mind, keep up the good work.

Couch potatoes

Jul 19th 2007
From Economist.com
DESPITE an increase in entertainment choices, watching television remains as popular as ever, according to the OECD's “Communications Outlook 2007”. In 15 of the 18 countries for which data were collected, broadcast-TV viewing increased from 1997 to 2005. Only in Spain, New Zealand and South Korea did people watch less. America takes the couch-potato crown, with households goggling at the box for an eye-straining average of 8 hours and 11 minutes every day. The nearest rival, Turkey, only manages an average of five hours a day.
