  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

The article on the following link is not only a good basic overview of the Acts 28 Perspective, but also shows how it is that they end up at their odd conclusion Talk about disregarding distinctions within a same passage. One of their top people pits his odd study habits against one of the very best at noting the tiniest distinctions within a passage and comes up wanting - way wanting!

Formerly Mid Acts - NOW ACTS 28: DOES RICHARD JORDAN'S "DID PAUL BREAK HIS WORD?" REALLY REFUTE THE ACTS 28 POSITION?

Those of you on here who are Mid Acts, you'd do yourself good to attempt to lay out for yourselves the consistent mistakes the above Acts 28 author makes in his failure to note various finer distinctions within the passages he so misinterprets...

The D'ism (and literalism about israel) of the refuter makes him think a mistaken kind of kingdom was being offered to Israel. It already was there, as much as it was going to be and it is exists in the preaching of the Gospel of justfication from sins. There is no expectation in the NT of anything in the land.

"The basic issue in Time Past is this division between the circumcision and the uncircumcision, between Israel and the Gentiles. When you find this issue governing the way God was working with men, you know immediately you are in Time Past."

This distinction is the issue once more in Romans 11:26, 27.

An example - the very best, at that - of the many, finest of details that is the Mid-Acts Perspective, by its best student - I just love how this brother consistently finds so much gold and silver within the mine that is Scripture when rightly divided in light of the Mystery!!!

Enjoy!
