The D'ism (and literalism about israel) of the refuter makes him think a mistaken kind of kingdom was being offered to Israel. It already was there, as much as it was going to be and it is exists in the preaching of the Gospel of justfication from sins. There is no expectation in the NT of anything in the land.

This distinction is the issue once more in Romans 11:26, 27.

And yet it is resolved in that passage because now in the Gospel, all men have been found guilty and all can be justified from their sin. So the distinction is over as was intended.

An example - the very best, at that - of the many, finest of details that is the Mid-Acts Perspective, by its best student - I just love how this brother consistently finds so much gold and silver within the mine that is Scripture when rightly divided in light of the Mystery!!!

But does he think the resolution returns in the future and think that it is not now resolved? If so, he is missing the big picture of the Christian era.
