CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm kinda surprised that you would define under 40 hours a week as "part time" although maybe it's just a cultural difference. I had a job where I worked 35 hours a week (excluding lunch hour each day) it was basically a Mon - Fri, 9-5 job, but I would personally consider that full time, even though they're not massively long hours

I work a Full time job, though only part time currently, it's.. 34hrs a week, but it's only because I like my 3 day weekend, at some point I should really start on working fridays too..
but, I'm getting by fine on the current money so it's no real rush.

I work 8-9 hour days, 5 or 6 days a week. We call some of the guys that work every weekend they can "super full time." I basically only do it when I have to. Sometimes we don't have a choice so I work about one weekend a month, either Saturday or Sunday. There have been times since I've been there that they run full speed 7 days a week and I actually get less hours that way because they make sure everyone gets two days off, even if they aren't the weekend. Along with my hours, my pay varies too from about $11.50-$13.10 an hour depending on the job I'm doing, so there's no budgeting anything.

I'm at work 10-12 hours a day and try to keep it at 5 days a week. Throw in a workout and that is a day!

Currently unemployed, but my previous summer job was seasonal in a touristy location. I worked 6 days a week for about 8-10 hours a day. Then on my one day off each week, I'd go off at like 3 am to go hike Mt. Washington and the like. Haha.

I work at target and only time we get real good hours is during Christmas, other then that I only work 3 days a week, a lot of times not even that. I sometimes go a week in a half to two weeks without working one day.

I'm seriously considering getting another job. I really don't need to work as much as I do. I budget $350, so I could get by working 3 or 4 days. Summers are also really busy for us and I'm thinking about taking some summer classes this year, so it just may be time to move on. The main problem is the jobs that will allow me to work fewer hours like that also pay a lot less.

I work 40-50hrs a week. I do shifts, usually 10hrs at a time, very early starts, very late finishes. Pays well though.

i work 10hrs a day ,5 days a week and i also do nightshifts and week ends...so not much times left for social life but i manage
and i hope being able to make some friends over here too
