How much should Christian "fight"?

IMHO, this verse is very poignant to me when debating.

Ephesians 6
12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

But trish this is the point. Evil is in heavenly realms we are in heavenly places far above them. We do not fight upward we fight downward. Any soldier we tell you give me the HIGH GROUND ANY TIME. For some reason the chruch keeps fighting a battle that is all ready won. NUKE THE ENEMY FROM ABOVE IT'S GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess I'm not being plain in my concept. I dont fight from down here, and I guess it's not even a fight except for the opposing side. LOL.. And I dont deal with people, but the spiritual wickedness in high places.
