How much are we worth and why? Does it change?

So I ask Messianic Jewish fellows, how much are we worth as individuals? Why it it so? Does our worth change?

I asked this elsewhere, and the fellows there thought worthy and worth were the same idea. And that our worth changed for the better when Christ died for us.

Christ death and rising for us shows us not how worthy we are but how much we are worth to Him, to salvage, or save.

I think that worth, dearness and how much we are loved are always the same.

Maybe when the Spirit fills us we are worth more?

But before Christ died, the Jews must have thought of this. I remember Isaiah and, "you were hewn from the same quarry as the prophets." And "I have carved you in the palm of my hand." And obviously, any one of the the Jews was worth more than many lambs, goats, doves and bulls.

What are your views here?

The salt that remains salty is worthy but the tasteless salt is thrown into the garbage drums.
Jesus referring to our salt, refers to our testimonies, and that we do not go back to sin. Also salt of the earth, is what we are in the eyes of other people. Salt and light, but not so with God who died for sinners and not only the salt.

Christ death shows us how much we are worth to Him.

There is a big difference between worthiness, and worth. No one was worthy of Christ death on the cross and His sacred blood, but His action of dying and rising show us how much we are worth to Him. Even as individuals.

Well, on the level of basic chemical components, we still aren't worth much. Your body contains $7.12 worth of phosphorous, $5.95 worth of potassium, and about four bucks worth of a dozen other substances for a total of $17.18... in man's eyes... Sold for a song.

And what of your life in the chemicals and the spirit and soul?

If you await your resurrection from the dead, then, surely God sees something in you?
