I don't mind it my hubby used to do it and even now that I work from home he did it last year and had them delivered. I definatly enjoyed them alot more at home than I ever would of at work. (Though he knows which ones are ok for me.)
My friend called me one day cause her boy, sent her flowers at work forgetting that she is ALLERGIC to flowers. Not no small slight sneezing either. She put them on the other side of the office and took a pic and put it on her website and desk . She understood he was trying to be sweet, but he forgot and made her sick instead.
Being an asthmtic myself I can understand how flowers in the work place can be harmful. Tiger Lilies set me off in no time.
I also remember women who would be just nasty to others cause the person received flowers. They were single and the person who receieve them were not. I agree, I have a great marriage, and I don't want to rub it in someones face like "its valentines day, I have a great hubby you don't." I wont be saying it but who knows if they wont take it that way.
