Hi, all of you out there. I am owned by three cats. Blackey, Charley and Roxy. Blackey is exactly what he is a pure black cat. He looks like a minature panther. He has been with me since a kitten. He looks out for all of us. He's a cool cat. Then there is Charley and Roxy. They are brother and sister. Charley is a big cat. He is always begging for treats. He lays on his back like a dog. He chases his tail. Very affectionate! He and my daughter are great friends. Then there is Roxy. She is a tortisshell long hair cat. Charley is grey and white. Roxy thinks she is queen bee. She has no coordination though. We have to be careful when she is outside on our balcony. When she was a kitten she fell off a three story balcony. Got badly bruised ribs and fluid. She constanly making sure her fur is cleaned. She even has a mane. It looks like a male lion's mane. She can be affectionate in her own way. She does not like to be picked up much. They all have different personalities. Sometimes annoying but I wouldn't trade them for the world. They are part of our family. I love them all!

I have two Schipperkes. One rescue and one retired show dog. I didn't show the showdog. He came to me from his owner/handler because he didn't like her Huskies. He dislikes all other dogs that are not schipperkes ... yes ... he's "racist"

The rescue was taken from a backyard breeder who'd kept her in a tiny cage outside for most of her first four years. She was thin, flea ridden, mangy and scared half to death. Needless to say we had tons of issues with her for her first few months with us. We had to get her back to health as well as house train her. Ultimately, she has become the sweetest pet dog you could ever want. She's lovable, healthy and happy and she's seldom scared of anything

3 Horses - A gelding, a mare and the mare's filly - all Missouri Foxtrotters.
3 dogs - A pure Rottweiler, a yellow lab X airedale, a Black Lab X Golden.

There are other pets in the family, but I dont have anything to do with them.

I've got Onyx and Shadow, Bombay cats. No birds or fish, or they'd be lunch. No dogs, because walking them would be impractical. No other pets, because hubby doesn't want any more... but I'd live on Noah's Ark if I had it my way.

I'm curious, how did you come upon the names you chose for Charley and Roxy? Those were my beloved great-grandparents' names, and it's sometimes crossed my mind to use the names for a set of pets--since I never had the boy/girl twins I would have wanted to name Charles and Roxanne in their honor.

Did you happen to pull Charley and Roxy from names in your family tree?

It would be weird if we turn out to be related...

Sugar, Rascal, Mindy, all solid white

White Owl, mostly white some black, Scottish Fold.

Lover Boy, Dora, Nora, Black with white.

Buddy, long hair tabby

Rosey, multicolor long hair with lots of white.

At my parents I have several cats and we have 2 engish setters and a chesepeake bay that my Dad hunts with.
