I just found out I am after eating gluten all my life. I was always sick and did not know why. Now I',m eating more grains than I did before.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yes, I am gluten free -- I have celiac disease and I have to eat a special diet.

I thought I was for a while but it turns out I just have SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth). It's getting better, though, but it can take years to recover from it.

I am gluten free also as I have Fibromyalgia with bad IBS and bloating. My IBS & bloating has gone since giving up gluten, though I still have Fibro.
There is a lot of gluten-free products available these day which is good. I think a lot of people can't tolerate gluten and feel better to cut it out of their diet.

I got tested and now our daughter is getting tested. They have a blood test now that shows how much gluten remains in your blood stream. If its a lot as I had your gluten intolerant.

I just posted this recipe on the cooking section. Its the best crust I made so far and I can use the less expensive Bob Red Mill 1 - 1 flour to make it.
