How many Halo fans are there???

I have played Halo since Nov 16, 2001. Xbox owner since Nov 15, 2001.

Woo! I got a pre-order for Halo 2 for Christmas (weird present huh? ) and I've got Halo on my X-box... I'm still trying to get my older brother to bring his over so we can LAN 'em :-D

The levels in Halo 2 won't be repetitive so you don't have to worry. Missions will take place on various locations, like earth, a moon base, on another Halo, among others. So you definitely won't have the same kind "work your way through Halo then work your way back" type of experience again.

LAN multiplayer is great! I also have HaloPC and my video card is the Radean 8900XT so I'm not having any gameplay issues online (except my internet provider downgraded my upload speed to only 250kbps which really sucks because I used to be able to host a ton of people. )

Halo 2 will rock.

I love Halo. The BEST feature, hands down, is the co-op ability. I wish EVERY first person shooter game used that. Whats really fun is using techniques learned in Basic and having them work when you're fighting on Legendary. The only thing that upsets me is when my Marines die. I hate that, and I kind of open myself up trying to cover for them when we're in the middle of a huge fire fight.

After about 4 tries I realised that one of the marines had one and wasn't doing a very good job with it. I burried my personal feelings deep inside ( ) and killed him. His scarifice was worth it as I passed that stage with ease once I had the rifle. LOL

How do I sleep at night? lol

LoL..I guess the level you're referring to is the second one. The one group who are actually inside the rocks (not the structure) had a sniper with them and in my experience, that guy was slaughtering the Covenant. It was kind of annoying when he'd shoot at the dropships though.

Only in single player man! I've NEVER killed a team mate in mutliplayer... well unles it was due to a stray gren or tank blast

Are you talking about where "Fireteam Zulu" sends out an SOS as their Dropship flies over the bridge you're on? I hate that level...I'm always in a rush to get that Warthog so i can save some of them while those Covenant Mortar Tanks are pounding the position. i always lose one guy, then I get to the Scorpion Tank and I have two people on the ground who always get killed. The best thing I ever saw though, and I only saw it once was when a Marine grabbed a Covenant Ghost and started flying around and whacking all the Elites. I couldn't play for five minutes because I was laughing so hard. I still manage to have some Marines alive on my tank when I roll down that steep slope and get to the bars where I have to proceed on foot, but they always keep running up ahead of me and attacking the huge group of Covenant withou letting me use a rocket launcher. very annoying. It's always easier to keep them alive when you're playing co-op.

TEAM KILLER is a really effective method, especially on legendary. You get a lull in the fighting, and both of you are in the red. You and your teammate in co-op take turns killing each other so you come bck with full health and ammo.

I was just kidding about the team killer thing. I've done it too. Have you never killed a teammate online or at a LAN party? That's what you hear: Team Killer!!!!

I'm back into Halo PC version trying to get through Legendary but having a hard time in the Library... (stinkin yellow elites)
