Additionally, if you are referring to the United States, plenty of states don't have evolution on their required curricula. More importantly, evolution, when it is taught, is presented to students in middle school. Indoctrination doesn't work on children that old, so any kid taught to be creationist since they were 4 years old is unlikely to change their mind from 2 weeks in their 8th grade science class.

If we were honest godless evolution permeates movies, texts, and movies and school. Insidious. Never far beneath the surface. Evil.

What you should be more concerned about is the college environment; this year was the first time I had an instructor that not only brought up Creationism, but also flat out called it garbage.

That shows his worth. Like to get him or her in a room full of kids and debate him into the floor cracks. It would be a scream.

I am 21 years old, and this is the first time in my life that I have ever heard that in a classroom. I am 21 years old; if I was a creationist fully indoctrinated since childhood, I would have to have pretty darn weak faith to be shaken by this point. That, or a very open mind.

I also have to bring up that the majority of Christians support evolution while also believing in a personal god, so your issue in that regard is based in fallacy.

In fact, even if you didn't believe that a deity created anything, you could still believe in a personal god.

Good, then I look forward to debates with you. But, I do ask that you be patient with other people on here. Years of mind numbingly frustrating debates have made a lot of people on here restrained when it comes to providing sources for their claims. It is going to take a while for people to recognize that you are not a waste of their time. However, the kinder you are, and doing some research of your own and presenting it, will both help a lot in that regard. The best kind of debate is the kind where the opposition sincerely thanks you for it.

That is false. There is a stack of evidence for biblical creation. When you reject the biblical evidence, that does not mean the evidence does not exist. It means you are not open to the evidence provided.

And Muslims use the exact same evidence the Christians use... they just interpret it differently.
