It seems that AV is using the confusion over the term "evolutionary creationist", which is a term for theistic evolution supporter, to claim that "creationists" can have a firm grasp of the evidence.

It's the equivocation fallacy. "creationist" in most common usage, means "evolution denier", such as a YEC or OEC. They certainly don't have a firm grasp of the evidence.

TE's do, and AV is relying on the EC name so he can claim that at least some "creationists" do have a firm grasp of the evidence. This is part of the reason why I tend not to use EC as a name for TE - it can cause confusion.

Which source? the source you were shown or the source others were shown? how do I decide which is the right one to choose if all I have is the biased words of believers?

I think that is an unfair caricature of creations teaching fake education about evolution.

It is very difficult to teach both sides of the equation without showing some bias. In my view, a sound creationist education will include evidence taught from both sides in the classroom (or online) and the teacher giving reasons why he or she goes one way or the other. In fact, if I were a Christian teacher in a Christian school, I'd arrange for a teacher of evolution to come into the classroom and give an outline of evolution. On another day, the Christian teacher provides a critique of what the evolutionist taught.

I wonder how many secular schools would invite a Christian teacher into the classroom to give an outline of biblical creation.

No, it's an accurate description. I found out about this forum bc a friend here wrote this massive research paper on creationism for her agnotology class last yr. She had gotten the idea to write about it after being on this forum. It won this national award & there was a lot of talk about it at our school. She posted a link to the paper & I read the whole thing. It goes into detail about how creationist textbooks give faulty & manipulative teachings on evolution. It cited several sources & gave examples. It was a very well researched paper. That's why it won. It's not stuff she made up. It's not a caricature.

So if you want creationism to be taught in science classes in public schools what kind of creationism do you want to be taught? Bc from what I've seen on this forum there's a lot of disagreement between creationists about this. Old Earth? Young Earth? Embedded age? Should equal time be given to each one? Should other religions be allowed to have their beliefs taught in the science classes too? I think most accredited Christian schools teach evolution similarly to how it's taught in other schools.

It is easy to tell what is a demonic assertion and what is truth. Easy peasy. If any assertion denies Christ and His word, and creation, why that is terribly demonic. I kid you not.

That is simply ridiculous. What valid evidence do you have that supports that statement? By the way, you do know that the Bible is not "Christ's word", that is not even supported by the Bible itself.

When it comes to God's word, you know the rules..

Because some posters have been noted over a long period of time for being unwilling to rationally discuss Scripture you are blocked from being able to discuss God's word. While there may be places to vent contempt for Scripture and/or Christians who believe Scripture, and blasphemy etc .. this is not one of those places. Thank you. Happy repenting...
