  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

How many CD's are in your collection?

I also painstakingly made a collection of around 500 heavy metal songs in 3 MP3 CDs starting from Black Sabbath all the way through!
That's awesome!!!

I own around 500 CDs, give or take as well. I'd say that probably 75% of them were bought used. I don't really burn to many CDs. Why would I need to? I've probably got around 20,000 MP3s as well, all backed up on DVD. I don't even listen to CDs anymore. They're outdated now, because of the digital formats. I haven't even bought 20 CDs in the last six years. I use an MP3 DVD or CD for listening to music around the house, or a computer. I use a portable MP3 player for the gym and walking around. I can't imagine that I'll buy many more CDs, if at all.
