How many CD's are in your collection?

currently i own around 78 proper cd's and none burned.

I counted them all last night - I have around 120 in my own personal collection (all purchased), plus within the family there are at least another 100-150.

Hmmm... I probably own around 350 or 400 CDs, most of those owned, although probably 50 or so are burned.

...and then I have probably another 500 CDs on my "music-to-buy" list. Hopefully over Christmas I can make a nice dent in that list

I'd guess maybe around 60-70 cd's. That's just a random guess though. I can't afford to but just any cd that I think I might like.

Oh dear... thats a good question. Probally close (or over) 200... add in my parents, maybe another 200, so 400 in my house?

i probably have about 150 real (non-burned) albums. then i have about 400 discs worth of live music that i've gotten from trading. and another 50-100 discs of burned cd's and mixes.


overall, about 650 discs, probably. i have a few spindles of them. and some ziploc bags full of them. it's getting crazy, i have them all over my dresser, and a drawer full of them.


if you get into trading, you aquire so much music so fast. i have alot of cd's full of music that i haven't listened to. stuff that people have taped and sent away as freebies.

Well, I have a pretty big collection of LPs and 45s and fortunately we have an old stereo that has a turntable, so I can still play them. But I only have 12 CDs right now - mainly The Parachute Band, enya and Bon Jovi. Just did a quick count though,and my kids have about 150 between them, all personally owned. I guess it's obvious I buy more for the kids than for myself, but that's gonna change soon.

I have no idea... maybe around the 200-300 mark. I have tons of burned CD's..cant even begin to think about.

I buy so much alot in a year, I average to buy about 40 albums a year--usually. This year I haven't really bought that much...but... With the Holidays approaching there will prob. be around 20 or more so added to my collection.

Store-bought: Can't remember, but probably around 75-100.

Forget CDs. I have around 8,000 songs on my iPod and iTunes Library. Including the entire Bible spoken by Alexander Scourby. Its all on hardrive.

I have eight or nine cds, most of them are christmas gifts or I've got for free when bought jeans... I like to listen to music but there's a good free library system here so I use to borrow cds from library and my friends or just listen to the radio.

But wow, thousand cds, that's a lot. Where to keep them? I think I have too much stuff in my room even I have a rarely small collection of cds
