LOL! No, no large donation. It's a wonder what you can do nowadays with computers. The old saying, "pictures don't lie" no longer holds true. A friend of mine has some computer program to do it. I guess maybe I should consider removing it from my profile . . . I'm not trying to actually fool people, it's just a joke.

You know the funny part is as if such a refined Southerner like G.W. would even take a picture and be seen sharing the same golf course with a less inferior Yankee ( and golfer) such as your self.

I was born and brought up Catholic...

and I'm still Catholic, and plan to remain one. No morbid fascination with boxes

but I envisage a beautiful Catholic burial plot!


I must admit that the last few years have involved some serious thought

and laborious research

regarding my interest in denominational differences.

I must admit that Martin Luther had a point. But he dealt with it in an entirely un-Christian and anti-apostolic way. I plan to remain in Christ's One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church, and admit that the 16thC church had lost track in a few areas. (My thoughts in a tiny nutshell...)

I was tempted to vote just plain Catholic, but I recognized the intent of the poll, so I registered myself among the "Orthodox brethren" (but what about our "sistern"?

).

I am a Catholic.

When my Dad told one of my Roman Catholic cousins that I had become Orthodox, she replied, "He's more Catholic than the Pope!" (She meant no offense; she said that because she thinks we Orthodox are terribly old-fashioned).

Anyway, I took that as a compliment.

I pray for a reunion of the Catholics of the East and West.
