How many books are on your TBR Pile?

I have about 200 books that I need to read, actually, probably more...lol I buy books because I love books and I love to read, but there is not enough time to read all of the books that I want to read...lol We have a big library of books and movies and I just wish there was more time in a day.

Awesome. It is wonderful to know that others love books and love to read. Right now I'm thinking of starting to read this little book called: Telling The Truth
The Gospel As Tragedy, Comedy & Fairy Tale by Frederick Buechner... I don't know what to think, but the title makes me curious to start reading.

How many books do you have at your house that you haven't read yet? I keep mine on a particular shelf on my bookcase, but I'm not home right now to count them. I probably have around 30ish.

About 100 give or take 20. The books I haven't read, fill 1 1/2 of the book cases in my library. I'll get to them though. I read a lot.

I have 72 books that I own which I need to read but I just keep checking books out from the library which get top priority. Though one of my new year readolutions was for every 3 library books I read I have to read 1 that I own, so far I have only read 1 that I own and 11 library books.

I work at a library..so uh, I take about 3-4 home every shift. :o

I have countless books that I want to read, but I store them all at the library and just carry around a tiny little checklist.

I have about 60, but everytime I read a few and then get rid of them I end up buying more

this is my problem too! I have a WHOLE BOOKCASE I haven't read! LOTS lets say! OH my..I need to get going! Well, it is summer, and I can read alot. I usually read 3 or 4 at a time! LOL..my bad! YIKES!

On my shelf about about - 10 and I keep buying more. I have developed quite an addiction to reading.

I keep saying to my husband, taking me into a bookstore is like taking a drunk into a bar and telling him not to drink! I KNOW I am addicted to books! I LOVE reading. My favorite thing to do.

I am glad I am not the only book addict here! I LOVE to read..and have many genre's I read. Right now, I am into 'heavenly' battle kind of books...um..Shoot, can't think. Just christian sci-fi kind of stuff. Chronicles of the Host, Fall of Lucifer..that kind. Right now I am reading a Ted Dekker book..Obsessed. It is really good.

i've honestly lost count. let me think... i just bought 3 new books that i haven't read yet then there's the 5 i haven't finished yet because school work is getting in the way. i'll play it safe and say probably around 10.

So many books, so little time! I borrow from the library so feel I need to read those first and return them. But then I read for a book group too so have a deadline for that book which has to fit around whatever else I'm reading. So books waiting to be read on my shelf, about a dozen. In reality my TBR pile is ALL the books I haven't yet read (and would want to).

Books are my big addiction, I get withdrawal symptoms if I haven't a book to hand. I gravitate to bookshelves, I love to handle books and the smell of a new book....heavenly!! Am I the only new book sniffer in the world? I can't be!

I have sooo many books I haven't read yet. Its sad, i can't even tell you a number. I love to read but I buy books faster than I could read them.
