It is completely irrelevant to the topic and here is why, the holy scripture explains as I mentioned in Romans that the Jews will be prevented from accepting, and scripture also says so if you know not me (Jesus) you know not my father...

So based on these things i'd say what the Jews believe NOW is a different GOD,at least until the veil is lifted...But that is only my opinion...Those whom are given the revelation of Christ and deny will become blind to Him if you know not Him you know not His father.

The point of this thread though is JP2 said it was one in the same and scripture says different, no matter what camp you put the Jews into.

Isnt the answer in the Bible?

Sure they would. It's no different than Rome's methodology.
With the exception, of course, that the system that the Catholic Church uses was established by the Apostles and their descendents, not a couple of backwoods self-serving wanna-bes.

Oh, I understand that quite well since that is precisely how Roman Catholicism morphed into it's own religion during the Dark Ages.
Of course. Thank God for Jean Chauvin showing us the way out of the wilderness.

 I see them both in the same light and why shouldn't I?
Israel was temporarily set aside (Matthew21:43; Romans 11:1, 26)Not so with Islam...Israel will again be awakened throughrepentance to enter into the land of blessingJeremiah 31:31,34;Ezekiel 36:22,32; Romans 11:25,29).Not necessarily so with islam.

But of course. I don't want to derail the thread by talking about Judaism on it. Peace. :)

With the additional exception that the backwoodseres are actualy God serving and the others are pretenders to God's own throne.

I wonder if those under the RULE of the Roman church understand the ramifications of what is being clearly presented in this thread?

One of the following must be right...

1.) the Pope and magisterium are wrong
2.) Christ and scripture are wrong

or

3.) they themselves are worshipping a false God the God of islam.

Amen to that, except he wasn't alone, and I don't think he or Luther reformed ecclesiology as wel as they did soteriology.
Since he ain't a pope, & I believe in freedom of religion, it's no problem for me to part ways with him on ecclesiology, especialy in the area of church discipline. He was still too Roman Catholic in that area for me.

4). you have misunderstood what JPII was saying. If you want to know what the Church thinks of Muslims, why don't you go and find every single reference to them? Not make assumptions from one little phrase.

about #1: even if the Pope is wrong on this one point that doesn't mean anything cause it's not like he was even speaking ex cathedra here.. this isn't doctrine.. it's just some speech lol. When we say that Holy Spirit protects the church from error we don't mean that every single word the Pope says in his life is from God loll..

also, please stop calling the Catholic church the "Roman church". Thank you.

don't forget the part right after 841 which says that God wants everyone to come to know Christ in His Church

To reunite all his children, scattered and led astray by sin, the Father willed to call the whole of humanity together into his Son's Church. The Church is the place where humanity must rediscover its unity and salvation. The Church is "the world reconciled." She is that bark which "in the full sail of the Lord's cross, by the breath of the Holy Spirit, navigates safely in this world." According to another image dear to the Church Fathers, she is prefigured by Noah's ark, which alone saves from the flood.334

I've cited 4 Roman Catholic documents, including Lumen Gentium, according to Roman myth is "infallible" as the voice of God speaking.

As I noted, providing the sources and citations, JPII was agreeing with Vat II, Lumen Gentium and Nostra Beatae which said the exact same thing, all according to the Roman myth of infallibility to be from the voice of God leading them.
