Since I am new I was wondering about everyone and their ttc journeys so far. So I was wondering how long everyone has been ttc and how long you will continue to do so.
Me, well we found out that we were pg last April and we were not trying, that ended in miscarriage but we both wanted that baby and really had a strong desire to ttc. Then I was pg again in Nov. But miscarried again. So I would say that we have been ttc for about a year with two pauses because of being pg.
I believe that we will continue to try for at least two more years. We have not really talked much about how long we will keep trying. Im 35 almost 36 and dh is almost 46.

Hi Renee - and Welcome!!

Here is my story: we have been ttc for a year and a half - almost two years. Around August of 2005, I had a m/c and I had another in March 2006. We are still trying for our first child. I found out about 5 months ago that I have a tilted uterus which could be causing some problems. A few weeks ago, I finally went back in to my doctor and asked him if we could start running tests to see if there is a problem. He wants to start by testing my hubby (who unfortunately is very hard to convince that he needs to be tested), and then to test me. I have been considering calling back and having them start the tests on me - because I am so impatient! :) Recently, two good friends of mine, including my best friend and my little sis have given me news that they are pregnant. I'm getting frustrated - and jealous - and all sorts of other feelings. I just pray that we are able to conceive soon...

We started TTC in Aug became pregnant in Sept. I lost that baby on Dec 1st. And we have been trying since. DH was tested years ago while in a previous relationship and we know he has a low count with low mobility. That made us pay attention to ovulation but it didn't really cause signifiant problems with our 2 previous children. The first took 2 months the 2nd was a surprise. I do have 2 dd from a previous marriage and no problems. I do not have any physical reason why I am not getting pregnant. I am just not. I am ovulating normally, and have no estrogen or pregostome issues.

we've been trying for 11 months. We have not been tested at all (other than my thyroid), so we don't know as of yet what problems we may have. We will be going to a specialist in a couple of months, so hopefully we'll be able to figure out what the problem is.

I'll be 30 in July - we plan on trying for as long as it takes - if we run into medical issues that are causing the problems, then we will search other options (possibly adoption).
