When "if's" and "but's" are candy and nuts, everyday will be Christmas. If she does give at least one, then your answer to hislegacy will be wrong, and in that circumstance, I do not consent to you calling me a clueless idiot. [Nor do I consent to such in the meantime, while we wait for the outcome.]
Are you running for a national office? You being interviewed most likely is not a big deal, but a candidate that was not voted on, held no primaries would be a big deal. The Sun does not have that capability. VP Harris will likely sit for several interview before Election Day, as it is in her best interest to get her message out to anyone who doesn't know and might vote for her. I don't know why an interview is such a big deal. I haven't done one in years.
Perhaps you forget, she has only been running for President for 17 days. Are you running for a national office? You being interviewed most likely is not a big deal, but a candidate that was not voted on, held no primaries would be a big deal.
And what?......that's not enough time to arrange an interview?.....She must move slower than Biden......Perhaps you forget, she has only been running for President for 17 days.
Perhaps you do not realize the numbers of opportunities and requests for an interview, press conference she had walked away from.Perhaps you forget, she has only been running for President for 17 days.
Funny how she can arrange one campaign rally after another, but it's going to take until the end of the month to sit down with one person to have an interview.Harris broke her press silence on Thursday, briefly taking reporters' questions for the first time in the nearly three weeks since she became the Democratic Party's presumptive nominee. She claimed during her remarkts that she wanted to do an interview by the end of the month.

Congrats - she did 60 seconds with a pool of reporters who have been with her daily for 18 days.Harris broke her press silence on Thursday, briefly taking reporters' questions for the first time in the nearly three weeks since she became the Democratic Party's presumptive nominee. I have no doubt that person will be intensely vetted prior. That's why I would rather see a press conference and open the floor to questions. Unrehearsed, possibly unexpected and off the cuff. And draw names out of a hat for who gets the next question. No cherry picking of friendly reporters.Let's hope the interview won't be with someone who simply wants to fawn over her about how it's about time we have a black woman as president. I'd rather see an interviewer who asks questions people want answers to. They want to see how she reacts to being asked questions she may not be comfortable answering.
Right. And no "What about Trump this" and "Trump that" and "your reaction to Trump saying this" type of questions.I have no doubt that person will be intensely vetted prior. Yep, cuz that doesn't answer important questions; it just confirms that she hates Trump....and I think we all know that very well by now. She is not a good off the cuff speaker.Right. And no "What about Trump this" and "Trump that" and "your reaction to Trump saying this" type of questions.
Why are we concerned about this horrible mistake that Vice-President Harris is making?Simple question - She's bloviating about debating her opponent, but has not even given an interview yet.
One awaits the inevitable (and arguably, elegant) pivot from where is she? to she’s such a camera hog, people are tired of seeing her…by October. How can you even think this is a non-weird response?
She has been involved in many press conferences throughout her career.
The news of the past week has been:
'She's popular with Democrats and the grassroots are volunteering and throwing money at her.'
'Donald Trump and his allies question her blackness.'
Even if she hadn't been tied up choosing the next Vice President of the United States, why would she step in the way of that?
I am unsure why this, she’s not running her campaign right is distressing to MAGADOLIANS?So one is all it will take? That's setting the bar really high. How about the same number of interviews and press conferences Trump has made since nominated? That's a better measurement, don't you think? She better get on the stick; she's already way behind.
I have never mounted a concerted effort for the Presidency and I’m going to assume that you haven’t either, but it’d be a monumental task in “normal-time”, yes there’s a “machine” and that’s in place, but there are states and cities to visit, besides, she doesn’t need to chase people down, to jump through their hoops, who aren’t going to vote for her anyways. And what?......that's not enough time to arrange an interview?.....She must move slower than Biden......
Must be jet lag.And what?......that's not enough time to arrange an interview?.....She must move slower than Biden......
If she is running for president don't you want to know exactly, from her own mouth (not the campaigns mouth) what it is she really stands for?.....and then be able to compare that to what she has said in the past. Remember, past behavior is the best predictor of future behavior.I am unsure why this, she’s not running her campaign right is distressing to MAGADOLIANS?
So rather than explain herself and her positions to millions of people all in one night it is somehow better to spend that time on days worth of personal campaign appearances to small groups of people and not explain yourself to the people because you won't take and answer questions? Somehow that philosophy just does not seem to add up. Or maybe democrats just don't WANT to know those answers?I have never mounted a concerted effort for the Presidency and I’m going to assume that you haven’t either, but it’d be a monumental task in “normal-time”, yes there’s a “machine” and that’s in place, but there are states and cities to visit, besides, she doesn’t need to chase people down, to jump through their hoops, who aren’t going to vote for her anyways.
In general I’m happy to wait until someone has something worthwhile to tell me, rather than me getting a daily dose of “who to follow”. I’m odd, like that.
Wonder how big her carbon footprint is?Must be jet lag.
