I'm getting through - started DBT recently, which I think is helping a bit. Haven't come close to 4 months yet, but it's been a week, which is an achievement

It's been just over a year since I last cut. There are still days when its hard, when I get the urge to cut , but I know that deep down...I NEVER want to go back and that I am stronger than that urge.

That's wonderful! I'm so happy for you! I've adopted this mantra which I think more people with addiction should hold. "Everyday is a victory".
This has helped encourage me on tough days... We say we need to take it day by day but we don't celebrate when we've made it through that day. So celebrate your time. Because, speaking from experience, everyday is truly a victory.
