How long do i have to wait ?

I've been reading my Bible all day straight for like 3 days straight now and in waiting to hear from God how long do you think it takes to hear from God while reading the Bible? Can you guys pray that God speaks to me quickly

God generally wants to speak to you, especially as you are asking. I believe God wants to speak, more than we want to listen. Sometimes though there are different seasons concerning how much he speaks or remains silent. I am glad though that you are seeking Him, and that is the most important thing you can give. Of course, God can give personal guidance directly anywhere, including an inward witness about a situation or circumstance that is not available in the word. It can also almost be a test of faith when God is silent. In those cases we have to accept the word and keep seeking. For myself, the time I can hear God the most is often during worship. It can be alone, but even more often it is during worship time at a church service, where His presence is strong. I pray too that you can have clarity and greater confidence in God and His word.
