The Bosnian war is the most recent example I know of people documenting a situation where prepping applies. That was around 30 years ago. In time the Ukraine situation will be documented enough for us to learn lessons from and apply them to prepping.

There is a game based on surviving the Bosnian war as a civilian. Its harsh in its depiction of the reality of the situation. I recommend it to gamer preppers. I endorse it as a player, I have no financial interest in it.
