Please stay on Topic. If the country is doing well then our leadership needs credit not criticism. Thats on topic. We definitely need to put the blame where it properly belongs. Each time I see someone lie or propagate lies or propaganda, etc., about who is to blame, I will state the true facts.
Each time, and if not here on CF, then on many other sites. Is that clear?
As the sisters said, more people are reaching out and helping. There is good coming out of this as difficult as it is. I hope it sticks! Here is an uplifting story some of you may enjoy.

Yeah I agree. I hope some of these positive changes stick and people don't just go back to being self-serving all the time. It's kind of like people suddenly realized they're not the only one in the world that matters. As the sisters said, more people are reaching out and helping. The President has helped cause a lot of extra death here in the U.S. by down playing the pandemic in early March after getting plenty of warnings. It was a crucial time, the threat widely recognized, and him down playing it.Please stay on Topic. If the country is doing well then our leadership needs credit not criticism. Thats on topic.
I guess the rules dont apply to you.The President has helped cause a lot of extra death here in the U.S. by down playing the pandemic in early March after getting plenty of warnings. It was a crucial time, the threat widely recognized, and him down playing it.
Yep, our gov. in TX has forbidden any elective surgery until the Covid danger is over and that might take years! Therefore no abortions in Texas. Is there any good news? Please refrain from blaming anyone. Thank you.
"Fact" news. No, not really, since the NYTimes has the largest group of fact news reporters in the U.S.
What are they racist about though? I enjoy a chance to write a letter to the editor to correct them, when it matters.
We've got some serious mask making going on in our own congregation, and have been delivering them to all the families that want them, including even at times neighbors of those members. Here is an uplifting story some of you may enjoy.

ah, I see."Fact" news.
Sarah Jeong.
Plainly white inferiorist.
Which rules?I guess the rules dont apply to you.
ah, I see.
Like all major newspapers, the New York Times publishes both a news section (a separate section of their newspaper) -- that news section among the best in all the world at informative news details -- and also, like other papers, has a separate editorial and op-ed section where opinions are also given.
Both. Both news -- factual, information based. And opinions, in a separate section.
Just like any newspaper you can buy -- 2 distinct sections.
(Fox News does a similar thing, with both news reports and opionion based talked shows -- 2 different types of shows)
The New York Times editorial/opinion section gives diverse opinions -- very many diverse opinions from across the spectrum.
"In January 2016, Jeong posted a tweet caricaturing Bernie Sanders supporters in response to online attacks against women and Black Lives Matter advocates.[18] A campaign harassing Jeong ensued that lasted for weeks and included threats of sexual violence; it drove her to make her Twitter account private and take an unpaid leave from her job at Motherboard.[18][19]
Jeong was a Yale University Poynter Fellow in Journalism in 2016.[15][20] In 2017, Forbes named Jeong in its "30 Under 30" list for media.[21]
In August 2018, Jeong was hired by The New York Times to join its editorial board as lead writer on technology.[20][22] The hiring sparked a strongly negative reaction in conservative media, which highlighted derogatory tweets about white people that Jeong had posted mostly in 2013 and 2014.[23][24][25] Critics characterized her tweets as being racist; Jeong released an apology,[26][27] saying that the tweets were meant to satirize online harassment toward her as a woman of color.[23][28] Editors at The Verge defended Jeong, saying that the tweets had been disingenuously taken out of context[29][27][23] and comparing the episode to the harassment of women during the Gamergate controversy.[27][26]
In August 2019, Jeong left The New York Times's editorial board, becoming an opinion columnist with the newspaper.[30]

So, it looks like she was demoted off the editorial board (we can suppose why), and now is only another of the many diverse opinion columnists.
I entirely ignore the Editorial and Opinion sections of the New York Times -- it's not interesting to me to read the opinions, honestly.Ok so in your opinion they're great.
The other stuff -- I'm awareo all this. What's your point? Is it that she was demoted and therefore they somehow weren't whitewashing her white inferiority views?

Lots of good news. The death rate per case is very low, probably much lower than we will ever know. Take simple precautions, but even if you contact the virus, you are probably gonna be fine again soon. Or maybe have no sickness at all.Is there any good news? Please refrain from blaming anyone. Thank you.
