How?!? How did I not know this forum was here!

I am so stunned and so grateful!
Single parenting is...well, I know I need support and people to vent to.
I have two wonderful children and I am thankful everyday that I survive.

I am always exhausted and almost always feel guilty-wishing I had more to give.
It hit me like a brick wall that my oldest will be eighteen in just five short years. She very likely will be moving out at that time because she is brilliant and focused on college. With her academic success and drive I think the really good schools will be recruiting her.

I can't imagine her not with me-but I also kind of wish I had an occassional break from parenting-such conflicting emotions.

I hate that I have to little to give my children. But, I would do anything for them and thank God for honoring me with stewardship over these two precious souls.

Okay, wow, I'm just so happy to have found this forum.

Now to go check out the single Christian forum so I can complain about being lonely

Welcome! It doesn't seem that this is a very active forum - from what I can tell. The singles board is pretty active.
