Im going to hedge my bets Im not sinning in my relationship (obviously I sin but I dont believe my relationship is a sin) and when I stand before God Im sure he wont take issue with it.

If he does.. and im asked to repent I dont think I could say sorry for how much love I feel for my partner. In fact I could not possibly say sorry for it, ever, to anyone its that powerful an emotion. This leads me to the conclusion that it's not a sin even more.

I know what Allah stands for to a Muslim--it isn't Jehovah.

Ta da! Never mind the fact that Allah and Jehova are both the God of Abraham, and that Arabic speaking Christians and Jews refer to their God as "Allah". or, indeed, that the Arabic "Allah" is directly derived from the Hebrew "Ellah" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allah#Etymology

Betting with God about a certainty in His Word that perchance it may not be there, is just plain foolishness. You lose. It's like betting that if you jump out of an aircraft at 10,000 feet without a parachute you won't fall.

Funny that God (Jesus) Never mentioned he had an issue with homosexuality, and that he seemed far more interested in telling people to love and accept one another unconditionally.

He did seem to have a problem with people who blindly adhered to out of context scripture, the self righteous, and the hypocritical.

FA I do actully believe you have the best intentions at heart, but I am unconvinced, if I believed in your interpretation of Gods character I would be a highly depressed person. I know God loves me, I'm happy to serve him , I've had many wonderful experiences of his love. However, if homosexual relationships are a sin I do not believe he is worth worshipping as it would be a cruel situation to impose on people. Again, as I said before fortunately I am convinced it isnt a sin within certain contexts so I am content and unshakable in my faith of God and his love of me.

All Gods children are blessed. Even the gay ones.

It's futile to continue to ask the Almighty, "Why?" Just believe Him and obey Him. Does the pot ask the potter why he's not a candlestick?

God allows all of us to choose to go our own way. But He calls us to come into relationship with Him through His Son.

I don't believe any palpable nonsense and illogic. The God of the Universe is superior---even to you! He is truth and there is no lie in Him.

The god of this world, however, is the father of lies and is responsible for tempting us to sin and to speak his own words of hatred toward God almighty, whom he despises. He puppeteers people to do his bidding. He lays the traps, and he creates falsehoods.

While God can be, has been, and will be wrathful again, He is Love. There is no hatred in Him apart from the fact He says He hates sin...not people.

Judging Love with such careless fierceness will only bring down His wrath at the end. He cannot abide the presence of sin. Allowing His beloved Son to be murdered and to be punished instead of you because He wants to love you and for you to know Him is extreme love--you will never know anything like it--ever, if you turn it down.

No. The god of Islam is a demonic force. Islam calls it Allah, the moon god demon. The name has become the name of God for them, even those who become Christians, but Islam doesn't worship Jehovah--He is not the one they revere!

Well, you are unaware of the character of God. You are right that God does love you, but He requires His kids to obey His Word. disobedient branches get pruned off and burned. Blessings come with yieldedness. Homosexuals forfeit blessings of God.

John 15:5-6

My friend I appreciate your thought but making an argument from silence isn't really a good idea. There are a lot of sins that Jesus never mentions. That doesn't mean they were not sins.

I would strongly agree that he opposed misuse of Scriptures (although I don't agree that is what FA is doing) and hypocrisy. But our Lord didn't really "accept unconditionally" If you refer to the Woman taken in adultery you will notice that although Jesus did not condemn her (to physical death, which was the lawful punishment) He did tell her to go and sin no more. While the Lord meets us where we are, He doesn't desire for us to stay there.

Jesus of course told us to love our neighbors as ourselves, and many of us fall very short of that. I freely admit that it is a struggle for me. I will be judged someday on how I treat my neighbors, as all of us will be.

I am sorry my friend I have to disagree with this. Have you studied Islam and Allah? I have, there is no good comparison between the two. Just to begin with Islam claims that Allah has no son. They are adamant about that statement. You cannot be a Muslim and disagree with that statement. Jesus we know is the uniquely begotten Son of God. There are many, many more contradictions.

Which I sincerely believe can be applied to any human situation to determine morality... and as such, allows homosexual relationships.

I see loving our neighbours as ourselves to mean "consider the positions reversed". I can see homophobia as a sin, because no one can be homophobic and honestly apply the "consider the positions reversed" and be cool with it. However, a homosexual, considering the positions reversed, harms no one, and thus is sin-free.

My interpretation, of course, but there you have it.

Love your neighbour as yourself... homosexuality doesn't violate it, pharisee-like justified homophobia does.

I'm not a Muslim. I happily agree that the Muslim faith is mislead, and has it wrong about some fairly major aspects of God. However, their faith is still worshipping the same God that we Christians worship, however misguided and mistaken in the specifics of that worship they may be. Similar to Judaism... we Christians don't believe that the Jews are correct about a great many things (they deny the Son as well, for example) yet I don't think you'll find many Christians who claim that the Judaic God is not the Christian one.

We all trace our religions back to Abraham, how can we be worshipping different Gods, unless abraham was actually a polytheist?

as I said, Allah is literally the word that Arabic speaking Christians use when they pray.

Except in your personal morality code at variance with God's. It doesn't matter whether or not you believe it. God's word is true and is our authority. We don't have the luxury of rejecting Him and still retain the knowledge of God and His blessing. Rejection of His truth brings judgment...all scriptural.

Living in a fantasyland of your own making is not taking a person to reward.
