How has Sarah Palin failed?

The hard core left is obssessed with Sarah Palin. I think she should just keep doing what she has been doing and not run for president. She can be a strong advocate for conservative politicians, help raise money, write bestsellers, go on news shows and do her own TV specials and make tons on money. Also, drive the left nuts with jealousy over her ability to stand for faith, family and freedom. She drives the frumpy sour pusses crazy with jealousy as she has a career, loving family and handsome husband.

Why would anybody be jealous of Palin's faith, family and freedom? That is just silly. Your comment is well off the mark. Furthermore, your giddy elation for seeing people angry is disturbing.

Well you've got to admit, the Right hasn't put forward anyone interesting.

Took me a second to get your post. You mean the last midterm election. I have been thinking presidential elections and was going to say you were an idiot. I would have looked the idiot in the long run.

The general rule for the last 20 years at least has been voting against has been just as, or more, importnat than actually voting for anyone.

Persoanlly I think some leftists are making brilliant plays. Palin plays well in uber redneck areas. Areas that the right has almost no matter what. In the last election it seemed far more common for Palin to turn what should have been a easy republican victory into a close (and once or twice losing) race. Yet she got the far right out and visible so se gets credit, as if she had a positive influence, for avery easy victory she turned into a close race.

I thnk she presents a real challenge to liberals. It can be hard to keep a straight face.

Conservatives buy her books, watch her shows and pay her thousands to speak at their get together's and you think "the hard-core left" (what ever that is) are obsessed?

Sarah Palin doesn't have to win the presidency, nor even the Republican nomination, to be successful. To be successful she needs to do nothing more than motivate the conservative base enough to defeat establishment Republicans and Democrats, since she's a leader in a conservative populist movement, not a Republican movement. This she does very well.

She has not failed, nor will she.
