I would have to say the test was mostly accurate, but not totally. I found some of the questions a little vague. I would also have to say that the test is a little biased.

I just left a post about this very thing in the "A little discouraged" thread. I went to take the quiz and at the top of the page was a big banner ad advertising sex videos. Why in the world would a "Christian" put a link to such filth on a christian message board?

Needless to say, I left without taking the quiz.

The sad thing?? How many hurridly clicked over to see the videos after reading my comment?!

My guess is that it was a site generated ad. It did not pop up when I took the quiz, I think something about classmates.com came up when I took it. Perhaps the OP was not aware that this type of ad might come up.

Yeah, sounds about right for me. Good to know that my Methodist history hasn't been entirely wasted. Surprised the figure is so low, but then I was tending to put "Agree" or "Disagree" rather than "Strongly Agree" or "Strongly Disagree.

how interesting... Yet i don't think the changes are meaningful. For several questions i wasn't sure of my answer, so i must have been a bit more moderate towards pentecostals and wesleyans, i don't know.

I just found this thread. I am so in search of a place where I fit in. I lost the results page when I left it. But, while I used to be fundamentalist and still am charismatic, my results were emergent/postmodern, like 96%. Definitely not old church, and catholic being least. Charismatic was sorta in the middle. On some tests, I score high as a liberal Quaker. Kinda confusing. Can't take my tambourine in to a Friends meeting, lol.

That's actually quite an accurate assessment of where i'd catagorize myself. I don't believe in the strict dispensationalist doctrines that tend to always be used to define a sort of imaginary pure form of the fundamentalist position. By that i mean to say i believe there are no timeline restraints put on the character and actions available to our Creator in the area of miracles today.

Our Creator has complete freedom to do anything He wills. The only restraints are those of His own character. He will not contradict the Scriptures or contradict His own self.

I took that quiz and could not post the results from the webpage because I don't have 15 posts. I did score 100% Fundamentalist. I lost the original page and tried getting the quiz back and I only got part of it--guess my internet is being strange.
