I would have to respectfully disagree with you about Matt 25:36-46. 'Nations' in Strong can mean people, mankind, i.e., all peoples of all nations of the earth will be gathered before Him at judgment. And the wording of the whole passage seems to clearly be speaking of people (the cursed) going into everlasting fire v.41 - hardly nations. And again people (the righteous) to life eternal v. 46, hardly nations. And I see no mention of the (so-called) rapture in the passage.

I checked Matthew Henry and his view is what I've said above. But I won't say more on this because I'm not into disagreement but will happily agree to disagree. The important thing is for people to accept Jesus as Saviour from sin and Lord over their life as you said.

Blessings!

Hey
You may, but those who are judged and that have come thru the tribulation and have received the antichrist mark will be put to death when we return with Christ that day, and the nations of the world are judge by Christ for how they treated his people.

We will end it with harmony my brother, besides we will both be there to see it.

Peace to all in Christ

I've seen in the Gospel many different things Jesus said you must do in order to get into Heaben.

Ive seen him say you must drink his blood and eat his flesh

I've read that you must believe that he was the son of God

I've read that if you dont feed the poor, Jesus will say that what you did to the least of my brothers, that you did unto me, and then send you to hell.

I've heard him say to inherit the kingdom of God, you must give up all of your possessions and follow him.

Is it all of these? Are there more things you must do?
Your title question is a great one, "How exactly do you get into heaven?" If I as an American cross over the Soviet frontier without legal papers I will quickly be apprehended as an illegal alien, but if I strut up to the American border with proof of citizenship my entrance is quickly allowed for. No one will ever enter heaven in the after life without first becoming a citizen here and now. Heavenly citizenship in this life not only allows for heavenly entrance upon physical death, it guarantees it. In becoming heavenly citizens we have no concern over trying to slip past the pearly gate angels and thus sneak into heaven in order to evade a far less desireable fate, we are already pre-qualified for an entrance and acceptance is already fully assured just as it would be if we as American citizens stepped back into California from Mexico. Citizenship is obtained in this life by becoming spiritually joined to Jesus Christ by faith and thereby sharing in His penal punishment for our sins, His perfect preceptive righteousness for our justification and His imparted Godly nature to make us the kind of people who naturally think, desire and act just like heavenly citizens do. It is all in Him and there is nothing lasting outside of Him. Various christian rites and good deeds are all fine and good, but citizenship does not come from our own good works but rather from believing in His good works in the place of our own native poverty. Keep asking these kind of questions and never, ever stop praying as God honors those who persevere. Keep tooting upon that horn and be willing to sacrifice anything in order to have your name written upon that heavenly register before you will finally and everlastingly need it.

Love this post! Great analogy! I hope the OP is still reading the thread. Especially 'sacrifice anything'. So many Christians today seem to think Christianity is an easy ride, and that God is actually Santa Claus, there to give them all good things that they want.

Instead real NT Christianity is not easy, and requires us to make The Great Exchange: "He gave His all for me; I now give my all to Him."

Love n blessings to everyone here,
